Splimit Bids
Splimit bids are Splinter Limit Bids by opener in support of partner.
When you open a minor and partner bids a major and you have a hand with which you would normally splinter (with 4 of the major, a singleton or void, and 17+ HCP) but you don't have the necessary HCP for something like 1 - 1
 - 1 - 4
 - 4 , you can make a Splimit Bid instead: 1

 - 3 , making a jump-reverse to 3 of a singleton/void in a suit higher than your minor and lower than partner's major.

 - 3 is not a Splimit Bid because the suit bid is lower than your opening suit. Likewise, 1

With hands like these, you have to make a normal limit bid like 1 - 1
